Elbie Louw is a senior analyst, Manager Research, for Morningstar*. She covers a variety of fixed-income strategies across the globe, conducts parent analysis and is an author of thought leadership articles.
Before joining Morningstar in 2022, Louw was a lecturer and researcher at the University of Pretoria (South Africa) alongside work as an independent consultant focusing on portfolio management. She also held roles at Analytics Consulting and Amity Investment Solutions with responsibilities across portfolio construction, tactical asset allocation and fund research.
Louw holds a PhD in Financial Management Sciences from the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, University of Pretoria (South Africa). She also holds the CFA and CIPM designations.
