This list highlights the top-rated US Equity ETFs, as rated by Morningstar. These ETFs invest at least 90% of their holdings in the US, and are designed to provide a cost-effective way to capture the performance of the U.S. large-cap equity market.

Morningstar uses a five-tier scale (Gold to Negative) to rate funds. For actively managed funds, Gold, Silver, and Bronze ratings are given to funds expected to outperform their relevant category index after fees and risk. For passive strategies, these ratings are given to funds expected to deliver alpha that exceeds either the category median net alpha or zero over the long term.
