IN BRIEF: Secure Trust Bank completes half of GBP10 million buyback

Secure Trust Bank PLC - Solihull, England-based business and consumer lender - Completes GBP5 million first half of planned GBP10 million share buyback. The tranche is run by Shore Capital Stockbrokers Ltd between June 29 and Wednesday last week. Secure Trust buys back 323,406 shares at an average of 1,546.04 pence per share. It expects to start the second tranche of the buyback in September. The GBP10 million buyback is intended to return some of the proceeds from the disposal of Secure Trust's Consumer Vehicle Finance business.

Current stock price: 1,574.00 pence, down 1.1% in London on Monday
