There has been plenty of action from the world’s central banks in 2025, with four interest rate cuts from the Bank of England, three from the European Central Bank, two from the Swiss National Bank, three from Sweden’s Riksbank, and two by Norway’s Norges Bank. In the US, the Federal Reserve has cut rates three times in 2025.
